The killing of a man by his brother in Lagos has been reported. A 21-year-old mechanic, Monday Nnime, allegedly stabbed his 28-year-old brother, John Okoh, to death and was subsequently apprehended by the police operatives from the Denton Police Division, Ebute Meta on September 7.
The suspect reportedly stabbed his brother in the neck with a broken bottle during a disagreement over N1,500 at their workplace along Sam Freeman Road. The dispute arose when a customer paid Okoh N1,500 for work done on his vehicle, and the suspect demanded an equal share of the money.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesman, confirmed the incident and stated that Okoh was taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta, for treatment but was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.
