BIOGRAPHY
Born in Miami, Florida but raised in Los Angeles, Eva Mendes abandoned her marketing studies to launch a career as an actress. She learned the trade from Ivana Chubbuck , an acting coach and after a few small roles on television, she made her first appearance on the big screen by playing in 2000 one of the victims of the horror film Urban Legend 2: blow of grace .

She subsequently distinguished herself in muscular productions such as Hors Limits (2001) or Training Day (id.). But it was in 2003, with the action film 2 Fast 2 Furious , that this pretty mixed race of Cuban origin achieved recognition.
