BIOGRAPHY
After high school, Chris Tucker first became known as a stand-up comedian . He made his film debut in the comedy House Party 3 but got his first major role, alongside Ice Cube , in the very festive Friday (1995). In 1997, he was Ruby Rhod, the very queer radio presenter of Luc Besson ‘s The Fifth Element . The same year, Chris Tucker was also Beaumont, a “balance” with a tragic destiny in Quentin Tarantino ‘s Jackie Brown , and Frankie Hatchett, a shabby con artist in Cash , Brett Ratner ‘s first feature film . The rest of Chris Tucker’s film career is then only linked to the fate of the Rush Hour franchise (1998), for which he found Ratner . His duet with Jackie Chan sparked and established him as a star. For Rush Hour 2 (2001), Chris Tucker became one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. The actor logically returns for a third episode in 2007 but no longer appears in any other film in the meantime.
