BIOGRAPHY
Chandra Wilson worked in a New York bank while performing plays such as The Good Time Are Killing Me , for which she won awards for Best Debut Performance, Paper Moon: The Musical , and Little Shop of Horrors . She also appeared as a guest actress on television shows such as The Cosby show , Law and Order , Cosby , Third watch , Sex and the city , The Sopranos , among others. He had a small participation in director Jonathan Demme’s film, Philadelphia (1993), as well as in the mystery film Lone Star (1996), in the comedy Stragers with Candy (2005), and the bio-pics A single woman (2008). and Frankie & Alice (2010), and most recently in the Christmas film Christmas Harmony (2018). But Wilson is best known for her role as Dr. Miranda Bailey on the hit series Grey’s Anatomy , a role she has played since 2005 and has earned her five Emmy nominations.
