Actor Itele celebrates as he defeats Afeez Owo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, and others to emerge as the Movie Director of the year (Video)

Nollywood performer and film producer, Ibrahim Yekini commonly known as Itele, has secured two prestigious awards at the recently concluded Emperor Awards on Sunday night.

Taking to his Instagram page, the talented actor expressed his gratitude to his fans and acknowledged the challenges of bringing laughter to people through movies.

He thanked the award organizers for recognizing his hard work in comedy films.

Among tough competition from Afeez Owo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Segun Ogungbe, and others, Itele emerged as the winner of the Best Director award.

The double awards come just a few days after he was honored with a leadership award.

The film star, who is currently preparing for his upcoming movie in August, received an Icon Leadership award in recognition of his contributions to the entertainment industry. This award also reflects his influence on society and mentorship of young talents.

Thanking the organizers, Itele emphasized that while many give awards, true rewards come from God.
